مقتطف صغير من كتابات أنسي الحاج

هذا القرف العارم, الجبار, الهدّام, الأصيل, المنير, الكاسح, الذي يتعاظم في صدري يوماً بعد يوم, قرف من هذا الجنس البشري, الحقير, الوغد, اللئيم, البشع, والذي أنا منه, والذي أنا أفضل منه, والذي أنا أسوأ منه, والذي يقتلني لا عجزي أمامه, أمام حقارته وغباوته فحسب, بل عجزي عن كرهه حته النهاية

Translation:

This overwhelming disgust, this tremendous, subversive, true born, enlightening disgust, which is growing inside my chest every day, this disgust of the human race, of this despicable villain, insidious, ugly race, which I am of part of , which I am better than it, which I am the worst than it, which doesn't kill me because of my inability before it, before it's baseness and idiocy, but because of my inability to hate it until the end.
